SEEN promotes healthy hair AND skin, with patented and award-winning formulas that are clinically proven to be non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and safe for sensitive skin.

After experiencing breakouts that were traced back to her haircare products– Dr. Rubin knew there had to be a better way for me to get the beautiful hair she wanted without sacrificing the health of her skin. It took 4+ years and countless formulation iterations to bring SEEN to life, and Dr. Rubin has done more than simply create clean, effective, and luxurious haircare products that respect the skin. SEEN has helped thousands of people understand that haircare is also skincare and, in the process, changed thousands of lives for the better.

All of SEEN’s fragrance-free formulas have received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™ (which means they are safe for sensitive and eczema-prone skin). Intention is the driving force behind SEEN. We are deliberate when selecting our ingredients—and in our choice to avoid sulfates, parabens, phthalates, dyes, silicones, and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, as well as many known and emerging allergens.

SEEN has been clean, vegan, and cruelty-free since day one. Our products are PETA- and Leaping Bunny-certified to be free of animal-derived ingredients, and none of our ingredients or final formulas are tested on animals.

We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint—and continually evaluating our sustainability as a brand. When possible, our eco-friendly packaging includes post-consumer resin (PCR) instead of “virgin” plastic, as well as glass and FSC-certified paper. SEEN also offers Eco-Refill pouches that use 75% less plastic (by weight) compared to traditional liter bottles.
